His love for water and frequent leaps into lakes and pools have made him a natural in aquatic environments. Although Sully has not participated in formal agility training, he exhibits a strong aptitude for physical coordination. He enjoys performing tricks, balancing on playground structures, and leaping onto various objects with confidence and enthusiasm. His intelligence and responsiveness are evident in his ability to adapt and engage in new challenges. Sully also plays a vital role at home. His owner is hearing impaired, and Sully has been trained to alert her to high-pitched sounds that she cannot hear, as well as to the presence of people or vehicles approaching from behind. This specialized training highlights his perceptiveness and reliability. He is currently working on mastering the "Stay" command, although his enthusiasm for treats occasionally tests his patience. Sully is an excellent traveler who enjoys riding in all types of vehicles, with a particular fondness for convertibles and boats. Each summer, he joins his family on a week-long boating excursion, where he proves to be an adventurous and delightful companion. Sully is well known in his community, often charming staff and customers during visits to pet stores and local businesses such as Home Hardware. He shares a close bond with his sibling Captain, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and the two are inseparable companions who bring joy and balance to their household following the loss of two beloved senior dogs. One of Sully’s most striking features is his heterochromia, with one eye blue and the other brown, which adds to his distinctive and captivating appearance.
