His look is literally traffic stopping - people will pull over just to ask “what breed is he?” and compliment him! He’s been told he looks like every movie/tv/cartoon dog ever, and is a “man bewitched into a dogs body” (it’s the eyes!). I think 50% of Toronto's population has him in their camera roll. He is a low energy goof. Loves meeting strangers and leaning in and nudging their hands for a good head rub and will flip for belly rubs; not an excited/jumpy dude, people are always impressed with his chill behaviour, though loves a good head in crotch greeting! With the right stimulus he can get excited for about 2 minutes and will spin in circles and prance with his front legs crossing like a dressage horse. Lives for food! Will do anything for pizza, including drooling endlessly while staring in your soul and then gulping in down like a pelican; because of his presumed upbringing in a dumpster, his gut tolerates all sorts of things (feel free to film him eating a whole bag of fire Doritos or birthday cake without worrying about any messy aftermath!). Loves a trail, rodent chase and a water wade; tolerates canoe and paddle board rides well! Is good with cats who like dogs (lives with two!) but can get grumpy is they are hissing/swatting at him! Can be spooked by awnings and mannequins, which can be used to your advantage, and will often bark/growl at scary/sketchy/drunk/threatening people but loves 98% of all humans! He’s basically what an AI would come up with if prompted “dog”.
