Hi! I’m Maverick! I’m a fun loving, energetic pup! I love to make my parents happy and especially love when they give me treats for it. I’m great with kids but sometimes forget that babies don’t like kisses. Those little one those are so fun to chase and run around with though even if I have to go easy on them. I love playing with other dogs too! But sometimes I do get carried away and forget other dogs don’t have my level of energy still, what can I say? I’m still a pup! Don’t worry though, if you remind me, I’ll happily go and play by myself when the other dogs are tired. My parents keep telling me that I’m too big to be a lap dog anymore, but I just can’t help it and want to cuddle up and be close. I’m a sucker for a good belly rub! Their favourite nick name for me is calorie hound because I would do anything for a snack! I can even catch them mid air now! But honestly, I just love being around them and making them happy. But watch out! My tail is lethal and never stops wagging! Drinks beware! I learned recently that splashing in water is fun and I can’t wait to learn how to swim this summer! I’m part Labrador you know, I’m made for the water! I especially love the frozen water. I think my parents called it snow, but it’s so fun to play and roll around in! That’s my Malamute side coming out, you should see the size of my paws! In general I love playing outside. I can’t take too much heat but I love running around with everyone and chasing balls! On breezy summer days you’ll find me happily eating a stick in the backyard with my family. I may be a bit shy when I first meet you, but once I get comfortable (and with the help of a couple of those snacks I mentioned) I’ll happily be your best buddy!
