With warm eyes that tell a story and a heart of gold, Hazel Mae is the epitome of a calm, cool & collected canine. She doesn’t mind when her 6lb feline brother Lennard pops his head in her dish while she’s eating or when he uses her wagging tail as a toy. She is the neighbourhood busy body and loves to sit in the yard watching all who pass by. Loved & known by name, she will remain seated until she has permission to wiggle over to say hello. She will sit still patiently to get dressed up and to get her nails done. She loves to be brushed and adores belly rubs. If you throw a ball she’ll just raise her eyebrows and look at you with her big soulful eyes as if to say “go ahead, you go get it”. Put a blanket, tarp, BBQ cover etc on the ground and she’ll back up into it and utilize it as her chair, bum first, paws on the ground.
