Hunter is an absolute joy and we feel so fortunate to have him in our lives. Since he was a little puppy, we have noted how calm and thoughtful he was - we always thought he would have made a good service dog. In our early months with Hunter, it was important he learned how to be off-leash. We spent almost every weekend on the Toronto Island's walking Hunter around, teaching him to stay close but also be free! We continue to introduce Hunter to new and exciting adventures; anywhere we go, he tags along. From city adventures (he loves riding the TTC) to road trips across Canada, we are always mindful of Hunter! He's a local celebrity in our neighbourhood along the Danforth in Toronto. Hunter shakes the storefronts down like he's the mafia - collecting treats along the way during his morning or evening strolls. He brings pure joy to all the people he meets along the way. We would describe him as being stoic, calm, goofy, and sweet. He loves playing fetch, swimming and prancing through the snow. Funny enough, for a dog who loves swimming, he despises the rain! Super food motivated - he's our sous chef in the kitchen. He leads a pretty active lifestyle, so when we're home, he will cozy up with his many stuffed animals and shut it down. During our free time, we volunteer with Sunshine Therapy Dogs here in the city, visiting old age homes, schools and hospitals whenever we can. We can't go anywhere without people stopping us to say "hi" to Hunter. Safe to say he loves the attention and enjoys people and fellow doggy friends. We're biased, but Hunter is a very handsome dog. But, he's not all looks! He's a charmer and is very obedient. We want to spread the joy that is Hunter and hope he can have more unique experiences in his lifetime.
