Nellie is a very sociable, affectionate dog, very fond of children.  She is also a very high energy girl who loves playing games.  She brings her ball to us every morning wanting her first game of "Nellie-in-the-Middle".  She never tires of fetching from the water or playing frisbee.  She is highly intolerant of squirrels on our deck.  Even the mention of the word starts her whining at the door to go out and chase them away. She does have a high respect for Canada Geese however.  She loves riding in the car, looking forward to the next adventure, or even a trip to the hardware store.  (She must go in because the teller always gives her a treat.)
