Apollo will be 4 years in December and is a silver Weimaraner. He is the most attentive dog I have even owned . He is capable of learning anything in minutes. We haven't done a lot of tricks per se but what we did do took him 1- 2 attempts to learn. He is high food driven. His eyes are piercing some say almost scary. He is always listening and paying close attention  to what we talk about. Apollo is high energy but very loving ; loves all animals but wants to be in the spotlight. He has a close bond with me and his brother Finn another Weimaraner. I have never seen an animal run as fast as he does ! I'm in awe everyday . He is very fit and loves our daily bush runs and loves the water and playing with his ball. An example of how intelligent he is ; I had my other Weimeraner in a puppy class and we had to teach the puppy a new trick, I put Apollo outside, not to distract the puppy. I found an extra large box, and I wanted to teach the puppy to jump into the box. It took about 5-6 tries and he got it . Now don't forget Apollos been outside watching; and Apollo was eager to show me that he had been listening and watching. I then brought a liver treat and asked Apollo to get into the box and he did immediately . Again I was so amazed on how he watches/listens/learns all day everyday. I think, given a chance Apollo would really enjoy doing commercials or parts in movies. You would definitely fall in love with him as I have.
